Licensed Mental Health Professional
A Mental Health Professional responsibilities can be varied, but generally include the following
- Provide various equine-assisted mental health (EAMH) direct outpatient mental health services with the goal of patient recovery to diverse children, adolescents, and adults.
- Conduct intakes and monitor individual, couples, and group therapies.
- Develop service plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment.
- Provide mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services.
- Complete and maintain documentation according to federal and state guidelines.
- Assists with horse care and barn chores.
- Part-time job position, hours may vary
- Previous horse experience preferred.
- Education requirement: Master’s degree in a mental health-related field of study, such as clinical mental health counseling, psychology, or social work.
- Licensing requirement: State licensed in Oregon, USA
